Running for "the Girls" - The Temecula 10k

While I'm not completely ready to run any races just yet, we will be giving it a try this weekend by participating in the Temecula 10k. This will be the first of several "races" we hope to run, in order to get some pledges/donations to apply towards our adoption fees.

We are doing everything we can to get some funds together to at least get the ball rolling, but we need your help!

I will be pledging to myself $10.00 per K, and we would be humbled and appreciative if you could pledge as well. The Credit Union and PayPal accounts are working (see my earlier post), but if you are more comfortable donating by check, please email me at METierney2@gmail.com for more information.

It is still rather awkward for us to ask for donations, however, we feel "the girls" are worth every bit of sacrifice and effort. It is going to take a miracle to bring them home, but we are determined to give it our best try.
